Bollywood star Salman Khan has been busy working on his upcoming projects in the past few months. After the grand finale of the show Bigg Boss 14, Salman shifted his focus on his other work commitments. While the actor is busy working hard, according to a report, Salman Khan has been approached for the Hindi remake of the film Master. The report stated that the Bharat actor will be stepping into the shoes of South star Thalapathy Vijay for the titular role of Master.
As per a report in Pinkvilla.com, a source close to the development revealed that film Kabir Singh producer Murad Khetani and the team of Endemol Shine have had a few meetings in the last 30 days to discuss the film with Salman. The source in the report added, “Salman has liked the concept of the film, and has shown keen interest, however, is waiting for the team of Master to come to him with a bound script in Hindi, as a lot of elements from the Tamil original have to be tweaked to suit the sensibilities of Bollywood audience.”
The insider stated that Salman Khan’s aura and personality suits best for the role of Master, played by Thalapathy Vijay. The source said, “Salman’s aura and personality suits best for the role of Master, and that’s exactly what the makers also felt. The discussions are in the very nascent stage, and Salman will take his decision on doing or not doing the film only after hearing the screenplay narration. The team of Master is currently working on the rewriting the script – tweaking the second half of the original, and editing the rather longer portions to keep the runtime in check in Hindi.” The source in the report mentioned that the next narration with the Dabangg 3 actor is likely to take place in the next couple of months.

Meanwhile, currently, on the work front, Salman Khan has film Kick 2, Tiger 3, Radhe and several other projects in the pipeline. The actor also has a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan. He has a cop-gangster drama with brother-in-law Aayush Sharma too.
