And we’re here as promised with another update on the Nikkhil Advani web-series. A short while back we told you that famous filmmaker is planning to helm a 7-season web series, which will be a period drama. The series, which will steam on Hotstar will be based on the Mughal dynasty.
Now, SpotboyE.com has brought another piece of news for you and this one’s about its casting. We hear that Salman Khan’s discovery, Warina Hussain has auditioned for one of the roles in the web series. The actress, who made her debut with Ayush Sharma, is in the running to be cast for Nikkhil Advani’s digital venture.
We already told you that the web series will have 9 episodes each. So in all, the complete web series will have 63 episodes. We also hear that the subject for the first 3 episodes have been finalised and they will begin from Babur, the Mughal ruler who laid the foundation of the dynasty, followed by the season based on his son, Humayun’s life and third season on Akbar. The subjects for other seasons are yet to be decided. The web series will be initially directed by Nikkhil, however, later he may give various episodes to other well-noted directors. This is the first time Nikkhil will be exploring digital space.
Talking about Warina, well, the actress did not make much noise with her debut, but if she bags the role in Nikkhil’s web series, hopefully she’d win the hearts of those who ardently binge on the digital space.
