Salman Khan: I Will Get Married Only After The Supreme Court Acquits Me

Salman Khan brought in his 50th birthday in style, surrounded by family, friends and colleagues.

The party, hosted at his Panvel farmhouse last night, was attended by the who’s who of B-Town. Guests started arriving as early as 7 pm and were trickling in till 3 am today.

Around 9 pm, a visibly excited Sallu stepped out to address the media waiting outside. He said, “There is no grand celebration as such, this is just a small get-together with family and friends.”

About his recent acquittal in the 2002 hit-and-run case -- by the Bombay High Court -- he said, “My parents are extremely relieved and that’s what matters.”

What about the Maharashtra government’s plan to move the Supreme Court against the HC verdict? “If and when the case reaches the apex court, we will fight it out,” came the reply.

When reminded about his earlier statement that he’d get married after acquittal, Bhai said, “I will tie the knot after I am acquitted. But I am not completely relieved even now; I might have to fight it out in the Supreme Court as well.”

The Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor also announced flat 50% discount in all Being Human stores, on the occasion of his birthday today. He also took to Twitter, to offer a ‘gift’ for fans:
