Salman Khan Shares How Salim Khan Helped Him Become Secure As An Actor; Shares, ‘I've Seen Failure, Success With My Father's Career’

Bollywood actor Salman Khan is currently over the moon as his much-awaited film action spy-thriller Tiger 3 is being loved by the audiences. It’s a known fact that the actor adores and worships his father Salim Khan. He never shoes away from expressing the same during his media interactions. In a recent interview, he opened up about his successful career as an actor and how his father Salim Khan played a huge role in making it happen.
During his chat with ETimes, the 57-year-old actor spoke about how, over the years, he has managed to stay secure as an actor. Not only did he credit his father for teaching him the true meaning of success but also how he learned that nobody has the power to snatch away what the other person deserves, no matter how influential. Explaining that he has seen it at home, Khan stressed the fact that people just need to give their best so that they can shine. He added, “You don't need to out-shadow someone or cut someone's role in a movie or show someone down. When you do these things, the audience sees that. He even spoke to the entertainment publication about how the success and failures of his movies don’t affect him as he has seen his father’s success and failure. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, Salman said, “Before I even became an actor, I've seen failure, success, failure, success with my father's career. When my father was successful as a writer, I didn't see him going nuts or ballistic. When he went down as well, I saw the same father standing there. I didn't see any change in my father's personality. That's what all of us, brothers and sisters got it from him. If a film like Tiger 3 is successful, we may not celebrate it. But perhaps if a film fails, we will not cry either. Talking about the movie, Tiger 3 is directed by Maneesh Sharma. Starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi, the movie is a part of YRF’s spy universe including Salman’s Tiger, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan’s Kabir. Apart from the amazing action sequences, the film also has SRK’s cameo and a post-credit scene featuring Hrithik, leaving viewers excited for WAR 2. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see how filmmaker Aditya Chopra will expand the spy universe in the coming years.
