Actor Ranbir Kapoor is currently basking in the love and adoration of his fans as he is busy promoting his upcoming movie Animal. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has garnered a lot of curiosity amongst the fans with its recently released trailer. Well, the actor has been opening up a lot about his personal and professional life these past few days. During a recent promotional event, he refused to shake a leg on his iconic song Badtameez Dil from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.

The 41-year-old actor recently attended the audio launch of his upcoming movie Animal where he was asked to do the hook step of his song Badtameez Dil from the Ayan Mukerji directorial. Having been released a decade ago, the actor has never shied away from performing the song for his fans. However, this time it was different as he refused to do it. Talking about the reason why, he hilariously revealed that the hooks step of the song has started to take a toll on his back. He went as far as to request the event organisers that they play songs with less-tempo for him. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, Ranbir said, “Yeh gana 2013 mein release hua tha aur main jahan bhi jaata hoon, yeh gaana mere peeche aata hai. Main abhi 41 years ka hoon, mere se nahi hota hai yeh sab. Meri peeth toot jaati hai, so please. On the personal front, Ranbir tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Alia Bhatt in April 2022 in an intimate ceremony in the presence of their close friends and family. They announced their first pregnancy in June 2022 and welcomed their baby daughter Raha in November 2022. They are currently enjoying one of the best phases of their lives. The proud parents hosted their daughter’s first birthday earlier this month, where they invited their family and friends. 

Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. Set to release on 1 December 2023, the movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles.
