Bollywood’s Sultan Salman Khan is all set to take the digital medium by storm as he is making his highly-awaited OTT debut. After ruling small and big screens, Khan is now planning to explore the OTT world and will reportedly be making a debut with a homegrown OTT platform with an action based web-series. Yes, you read that right! As per the latest report in BollywoodLife, Salman loved the OTT web series concept and zeroed in on web series that will show all the swag of the superstar.
A source close to the development was quoted as saying, “Salman loves this OTT webseries concept, and he has zeroed in on one action-based web series that will show all the swag of the superstar. While till now everything is on a very initial stage and the makers are keeping everything under wraps.” The insider added that the 57-year-old actor is very excited about the project and that he has given his nod to the director. Salman has even begun the prep for the same. “But right now he is focusing on Tiger 3, and then he has another film that is a hugely budgeted crossover film of Aditya Chopra between him and Shah Rukh Khan, and the tentative title is Pathaan vs. Tiger. After all this, he will begin his work on the OTT project,” the source further stated.
Salman’s first OTT project will be a family entertainer without any adult content, as he himself is against it. In an interview, Salman had spoken about how he doesn't like the adult content served to audiences on OTT platforms these days. He demanded censorship of OTT web series and said they contain vulgarity, nudity, obscenity and all this would affect youth. Salman had said, “Apko acha lagega apki choti se beti ye sab dekhe... padhne ke bahane.”
Work-wise, Salman is gearing up for the release of his upcoming actioner ‘Tiger 3’ which also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
