Sangeeta Bijlani To Make Her Small Screen Debut With Ishqbaaz?
Bollywood diva Sangeeta Bijlani is in talks to make a glamorous entry into the popular Star Plus show Ishqbaaz

shone on the big screen in films like Tridev and Gunahon Ka Devta during the
‘80s, and now we may soon see her on the small screen.
Yes, the
ex-girlfriend of Salman Khan may follow the superstar on to television. The
actress has retired from showbiz after marrying cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin
in the ‘90s.

tell you that the former Miss India is in talks to enter Ishqbaaz, the hit show
on Star Plus.
The makers of
Ishqbaaz want to introduce a glamorous character with shades of grey, who will
create turmoil within the Oberoi family. And they have zeroed in on Sangeeta
for the role.
A source told
SpotboyE.com that Sangeeta has been approached to be a part of the show and she
is keen to play the character, a con woman who uses her beauty and brains to
create havoc.
Sangeeta, who
started off as a model in the advertising industry with the iconic Nirma ad,
had revealed in a recent interview that she is considering a return to the
spotlight.
The 52-year-old
actress had said: “I’ve been getting a few ad offers, so that’s what I’ll be
doing soon...I won’t do films unless something really special comes up. A new
genre of films such as Parched and Pink are coming up these days and I would
love to be a part of something like that.”
And if all goes
as per plan, we may soon see Sangeeta on the small screen.
