Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik welcomed their little bundle of joy on October 30. The cricketer had taken to social media to announce the news and had said, “Excited to announce: Its a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual #Alhumdulilah. Thank you for the wishes and Duas, we are humbled #BabyMirzaMalik.” Now, pictures of the tennis champ leaving the hospital with her baby are doing the rounds of social media. The couple has named their son Izhaan Mirza which means God’s gift in Arabic.

You may recall, as soon as Shoaib shared the news of the baby’s arrival, Sania’s BFFs, Farah Khan and Neha Dhupia, were amongst the first ones to showcase their excitement on social media. Farah wrote, “Finally!! Best news in a long time!! Congratulations @mirzasaniar @realshoaibmalik @anammirzaaa @imranmirza58 n of course the nani n daadi ♥️god bless our lil angel”

She posted another picture with Sania and wrote, “My dearest n best friend becomes a mum!! @mirzasaniar I couldn’t b happier. lov uuuuu n arriving soon to meet the lil prince.” Mom-to-be Neha Dhupia wished the Tennis champ with a few pictures and wrote, “Congratulations ... to my beautiful friends and brand new parents @MirzaSania @realshoaibmalik uff i cant wait to meet ur bundle of joy.” In April, Sania and Shoaib announced their pregnancy with an adorable Instagram post that read, “#BabyMirzaMalik".
