After KGF: Chapter 2, 90s popular stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon might be seen in a slice-of-life comedy
In the upcoming months, 90s popular stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon will be seen taking over the theatre screen with the Kannada action drama, KGF: Chapter 2. Meanwhile, as per reports in Midday, the duo will be seen in a slice-of-life comedy. The movie will be helmed by a newbie, which has got a nod from these actors. The movie is said to be backed by a leading studio and is currently in the ideation stage. As per reports, this idea sparked the makers’ minds when they came across Raveena’s Instagram post also featuring Sanjay Dutt.
Raveen shared a throwback picture of her with Sanjay when she first worked with him for the movie, Zamane Se Kya Darna released in 1994. She captioned the post as “#throwback90s my first film with #sanjaydutt #zamaanesekyadarna #mymostfavoriteactor always super entertaining and super fun !!! The portal reported, “The film, being bankrolled by a leading studio, was at the ideation stage at the time. On seeing the picture, the makers thought they would be the perfect choice for the comedy. They reached out to the actors who were kicked about working together again.”
The report further added the actors are yet to sign on the dotted lines; the final draft of the script is yet to be frozen. The portal states the makers will make an official announcement in February, “The announcement can be expected in February.”
