Sanjay Dutt launches his own production house ‘Three Dimension Motion Pictures
Besides acting, many Bollywood celebrities, over the years, have multiplied their investment in different other ventures. The recent road the actors have picked is of setting up a production house. After Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgan, Anushka Sharma, now Sanjay Dutt has also launched his own production company. Yes, you read it right. With a view to bringing back the golden age of heroism to the Film industry, the Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. actor is launching his production company called ‘Three Dimension Motion Pictures’.
Given the recent box office success of the South film, “Pushpa and Bahubali, Dutt stated as examples of the faded away larger-than-life heroism in Bollywood. The leading daily quoted Sanjay as saying, “We’re trying to get back what we had, what the South Indian Films are doing now.” The 62-year-old actor also recalled his time when he started his filmy career and said, “We started off with the heroism, the heroic roles, the mass love, and everything, and I just saw that stopping. Sanjay also assured that he wants to fill the gap which is missing in Hindi cinema. Dutt added, “What Denzel Washington and Kevin Costner and Mel Gibson are doing in Hollywood-I think that little gap is missing here. I’m trying to get that gap back, of a hero of that age.”
Talking about his production company, the actor mentioned that the Three Dimension is prepping a slate which includes horror-comedy “The Virgin Tree,” to be directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, who was TV, music video, and assisting experience and will make his feature debut, with a cast of four newcomers.
Further, on being quizzed about Sanjay's upcoming films, he revealed that he will be seen in a few movies under his production house. On a related note, the shooting for the first film under Three Dimensions will go on floors in May.
