Sanjay Dutt's Munna Bhai Co-Star Arshad Warsi AKA Circuit On His Lung Cancer Diagnosis, 'He Will Emerge Triumphant Here Too, He Is A Fighter'
Reacting to Sanjay Dutt's lung cancer diagnosis, his Munna Bhai co-star Arshad Warsi aka Circuit calls him a 'fighter' - read on to know what he said.
Ever since the news of Sanjay Dutt getting diagnosed with lung cancer hit the internet, the actor is getting flooded with prayers and support from across. Be it Sanjay's fans, family, friends or co-stars; everyone's praying for his quick recovery. The list also includes his Munna Bhai co-star Arshad Warsi, aka the Circuit to his Munna. In an interview with Mid Day, the actor said how Sanjay Dutt has overcome a lot of hardships without cribbing about them and he will emerge victorious against cancer too. Arshad also prayed for his well-being and opened up on their upcoming film Blockbuster, which they were about to shoot for.
Arshad said, "I don’t know anyone who would have survived [the difficulties] that he has faced head-on. Despite the situations, he has an air of positivity. I have never seen him crib about his hardships. He will emerge triumphant here too; he is a fighter." About being asked about the film Blockbuster that they were about to start working for, he said, "Films can come and go, but people like him are rare. I pray that he gets better.” Further, Arshad revealed that he spoke to Sanjay when he was hospitalised and the latter assured that everything will be fine.
"We spoke when he was hospitalised last week; he assured me he was fine," added Warsi.
It was on August 11 that Sanjay Dutt took to his social media to announce a break from work for his treatment. Soon after, it was confirmed that he's diagnosed with lung cancer. “Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!" wrote Sanjay.
