Sanjay Dutt will soon be a published poet.
The actor, who was released from Pune’s Yerwada prison last month (Sanjay Dutt released from Yerwada Jail, Feb 25), has written couplets about life behind the bars.
Sanju says he used to pen down his thoughts almost every day, with even mundane experiences inspiring him at times.
He now plans to compile the 500-plus verses -- at least 100 written by him and the remaining by two fellow inmates -- and get it published.
The collection has been aptly titled Salaakhen.
The news of Baba turning poet has surprised many in the industry. They say during his years in Bollywood, he never showed any inclination towards or aptitude for writing.
