Actor Sanjay Kapoor recently talked about the advice he shared with his daughter Shanaya Kapoor's who is soon going to make her Bollywood debut under the wings of director Karan Johar. Read to know more.
Actor Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor is all set to make her Bollywood debut under Karan Johar's Dharma Cornerstone Agency. The 21-year-old Shanaya is prepped to start her own Bollywood career and is currently gearing up for the shoot of her first film, which is expected to start in July this year. Speaking of her debut dad Sanjay says, "She is been wanting to be an actress for a very, very long time." Sanjay who has been in the industry for more than 26 years and who also witnessed ups and downs in his career feels that his daughter should learn to survive on her own in this industry.
When asked if he gave any advice to Shanaya he said, "This line is such that you learn with your own experience, having said that, she knows I am gonna be right behind her. Honestly, I feel every individual should grow on their own and it's better that, she learns from her own mistakes and experience. This way she will enjoy her journey much more rather than I hold her hand for everything"
Shanaya is currently busy with acting workshops and training for her upcoming shoot. She had grabbed eyeballs when she made her debut at the Le Bal in Paris in 2019 and The Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives featuring her mother Maheep Kapoor. Shanaya had also turned assistant director for cousin Janhvi Kapoor's Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' backed by KJo. Born in a Kapoor family it would be quite interesting to see the magic she brings on screen.
