In April 2019, came the news of Sanjay Leela Bhansali roping in actor Randeep Hooda for his yet-to-be-titled flick. According to reports in India Today, the actor will be seen in a cop's role; the film has an interesting plot for the audience promising a lot of twist and turns in the story. Unlike most of the times Bhansali will only produce the project marking the directorial debut of writer Balwinder Singh Janjua. Now the maker has finalised the leading lady for the flick.
Actress Zoya Hussain who debuted in Bollywood with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's Mukkabaaz has been roped in for SLB's next according to a report in Mumbai Mirror. She fits the bill as per the director. Scheduled to go on floors in the month of October 2019, Zoya will start prepping for her role earlier to it by attending workshops and participating in the reading sessions. This mystery thriller will be Zoya's fourth project in Bollywood after Haathi Mere Saathi co-starring Rana Daggubati and Teen Aur Aadha.
Director Balwinder Janjau has previously penned Mubarakan, Firangi and Saand Ki Aankh. Lead actor Randeep just wrapped up the shooting of Imtiaz Ali's Aaj Kal starring Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan, while Zoya's next Haathi Mere Saathi is a multilingual flick set to release soon.
Besides this untitled project, Bhansali will be backing and directing Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt for Inshallah marking a Eid release in 2020. Also this is SLB's fifth production venture including Tuesdays and Fridays, Malaal, Abhishek Kapoor's Balakot Strike and Inshallah.
