Sanya Malhotra is leaving no stone unturned to promote her film Pagglait. She recently appeared as a guest on Dance Deewane 3 and revealed that Dharmesh Yelande once rejected her on a dance reality show. Find out how the choreographer reacted to the actress' surprising revelation.
Sanya Malhotra is one of the most loved actresses of Bollywood. With hard work and talent, Sanya has successfully carved a niche for herself in the industry. However, it wasn't an easy ride for the actress. Before becoming an actress, Sanya was passionate to become a dancer. The actress even went on an audition six years ago. However, she was rejected. Much to everyone's surprise, Sanya was rejected by Dharmesh Yelande. Yes, you read that right!
During the show, Sanya revealed that she had participated in a dance reality show in which Dance Deewane 3's Dharmesh Yelande was a judge. However, it was because of him, Sanya couldn't pass the audition round.
In a promo video shared by ColorsTV, Sanya can be heard saying, "Life has come a full circle for me today. Six years back, I had come to this studio for a dance reality show audition and I did not clear it. And I remember, it was 1 am in the night when I got free and I called my friend and said that I have not been able to get through and to come and pick me up. And you were there, Dharmesh sir. I was not able to clear it because of you. But now, I am here to promote my film," to which Dharmesh responded saying, "I think you must have left from here that day with a lot of courage and determination that mujhe ab karke dikhana hai."
Talking about her movie, Pagglait is currently streaming on Netflix. The movie is receiving a good response from the audience. Sanya plays the roles of a widow who has lost her husband just a few months after their marriage. The movie also stars Sayani Gupta, Shrutii Sharma, Sheeba Chaddha, Raghubir Yadav, Ashutosh Rana, Meghna Malik and Rajesh Tailang.
