The trailer of Imtiaz Ali’s 2020 film Love Aaj Kal released recently, and the excitement among fans about the release is crazy. As the film stars Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan in pivotal roles, the film is a sequel to the 2009 film Love Aaj Kal that starred Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. With Sara and Kartik busy with the promotions of the film, during an interview recently, Sara Ali Khan recalled her fun memories from father Saif Ali Khan’s 2009 film Love Aaj Kal’s set and shared how she used to play with Deepika Padukone’s lip glosses.
Sara Ali Khan is carving her niche in Bollywood and the upcoming film Love Aaj Kal will mark her third film since her debut. As Sara is starring in a film her father Saif once featured in, the actress opened up about the memories she has from the sets of 2009 Love Aaj Kal. During the promotions of her upcoming flick, speaking with Rajeev Masand, Sara Ali Khan recalled her fun memories with the 2009 film Love Aaj Kal star Deepika Padukone. In the interview, Sara shared that she enjoyed playing with Deepika’s lip glosses on the sets. The Love Aaj Kal actress added that she would enjoy hogging on some yummy parathas and play along with Deepika Padukone’s lip glosses on the sets in 2008-2009. The actress also shared that she should have taken up some notes at that time, but for not sure she would land up acting. Although Sara was not much keen about taking some notes for her acting, like every other girl, the actress was much interested in makeup.
Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan’s film Love Aaj Kal also stars Randeep Hooda in pivotal roles. The film is directed and produced by Imtiaz Ali and also co-produced by Dinesh Vijan. Love Aaj Kal is scheduled for a release on February 14, 2020, on Valentine’s Day.
