Sara Ali Khan Reveals Amrita Singh Purchased The 'Most Beautiful Lehenga' For Her To Wear To Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor's Wedding
Sara Ali Khan who is no more a newbie in Bollywood recently spoke about her father Saif Ali Khan’s wedding to Kareena Kapoor. She shared about her mother Amrita Singh ordering the most beautiful lehenga for her to sport at the wedding
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s wedding was a private yet an extravagant affair. What came as a total surprise was the presence of Saif Ali Khan’s kids from first wife Amrita Singh. Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan have comfortably accepted Kareena to be their second mother and for the wedding, supposedly it was Amrita Singh who chose a lehenga for Sara. In a recent interview with a magazine, Sara recalled how her mother reacted to Saif and Kareena’s wedding and how she wanted her daughter to look the most beautiful at the event.
Sara and Ibrahim recently graced the cover of Hello magazine and that’s when Sara made this revelation. Amrita Singh helped Sara chose her outfit as well as jewelry for Saif and Kareena’s wedding. Sara was quoted saying, “When my father just got married to Kareena, I remember going to the locker with my mother and taking out jewelry and saying which jhumkas should I wear? She called Abu and Sandeep and said, “Saif is getting married and I want Sara to have the most beautiful lehenga.”
Well, this is not for the first time that Sara has spoken about her father’s wedding Kareena. In earlier interviews, the Simmba actress has shared how Kareena is more like a friend to her than a mother. “I do think that Kareena is my friend, but more than that, she is my father's (Saif Ali Khan) wife. I respect her, and realise that she makes my father happy. We belong to the same profession, and have a similar world, thus, our conversations include that as well,” she said.
On the work front, Sara Ali Khan will next be seen in Aaj Kal with rumoured boyfriend Kartik Aaryan. The film is helmed by Imtiaz Ali and is the sequel of Sara’s father’s film Love Aaj Kal.
