Aanand L Rai's Atrangi Re starring Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar released recently. The movie has received an amazing response from the audiences and the critics. Talking about Sara's performance in Atrangi Re, fans believe she nailed it as 'Rinku'. She has given a stellar performance and fans are showering her with compliments. On Saturday, the actress took to Instagram to express gratitude for all the love the audience is showering and penned a heartfelt note for the cast and crew of the film.

In the BTS video shared by Sara, she opened up about playing a Bihari girl. 'That took training. That took effort," she said. Director Aanand L Rai mentioned Rinku as Sara's most difficult character.

Sara thanked the cast and crew of the film for giving her 'lifetime of memories.' She wrote, "If I try to write an apt caption for this I'll be sobbing again and I think last evening saw enough of that. So all I will say is THANK YOU to the whole cast and crew of this film for giving me a lifetime of memories. To the only good thing that happened to me in 2020. THANK YOU." Atrangi Re is now streaming on Disney+Hotstar, starring Dhanush, Sara and Akshay. It was released on December 24.

Sara made her debut in Bollywood with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath. She later went on to star in Simmba, Love Aaj Kal and Coolie No. 1. Now that Atrangi Re has been released, she will be seen in Laxman Utekar's directorial with Vicky Kaushal.
