Scared To Work With Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt & Anushka Sharma: Amitabh Bachchan
At KBC’s press conference yesterday, Amitabh Bachchan spoke up about the younger lot of actors and how he is scared to work with Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma
You would think that with the stardom that Amitabh Bachchan
enjoys, he can smoothly sail through any challenges and wouldn’t be scared of
anything. But that isn't the truth. The superstar recently opened up at the KBC
press conference about how he is scared to work with some of the B-Town hotties
like Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma.
“From the younger lot, Alia, Anushka and Deepika – all of
them are such powerful actors that I am scared to work with them. Kha hi
jaayege humko (They will eat me up). We took years and years and years and
years and we are still trying to fine tune our craft, these people they come
first day on the set and they know exactly what they are doing. They are so
confident and so mature,” said Big B.
Amitabh is currently working with Alia in Brahmastra, and he
has previously worked with Deepika in films like Aarakshan (2011) and Piku
(2015). He is yet to work with Anushka.
Not just the ladies, Sr Bachchan was also appreciative of the leading men of this generation. Speaking of them he said, “Look at what Ranbir is doing and Sushant, Varun and Rajkummar Rao. Recently there was this film Sonu ki Titu - bada ajeeb sa naam hai – usme Aaryan was so good. The film had such a good story. I get so obsessed and I keep writing to them saying well done.” Well, he may be scared of them, but surely they are no competition to his towering persona.
