She is one of the only actresses in Bollywood, who does not have a 'no-nudity' clause in her contract. Infact, Radhika Apte has become the go-to actress for filmmakers exploring darker, edgier subjects.
The 15-minute-long film which went viral upon its release last year moved the action to a mansion in Kolkata where a police officer arrives to investigate the disappearance of a young model.
He is greeted at the door by a negligee-clad Ahalya, played by Radhika. Her husband is an aging artist, played by Soumitra Chatterjee. What follows is a story of sex, magic and fantasy which ends with the cop played by Tota Roy Chowdhury getting turned into stone.
Now Sujoy, whose much talked about Vidya Balan starrer Kahaani 2 is set for release this Friday, has started work on the second instalment of the short film.
Radhika and Soumitra will reprise their roles while the action will move into a hotel room.

The film will be shot in February over a two-day schedule. And then Sujoy will release it online that very same month.
Sujoy confirmed to SpotboyE.com that he is indeed working on the sequel to Ahalya and he has written the bold script with Radhika in mind.
Radhika had famously stripped off for a full frontal naked scene in Anurag Kashyap's Madly and had shot a no-holds-barred love scene for her recent release Parched too. We wouldn't be surprised if she keeps the bold quotient high in Ahalya 2 too.
