Ganpati Bappa holds sway over the city today but all eyes were on Ranbir Kapoor as he stepped out with a procession for the visarjan of RK Studios’ Ganpati idol.


Every year, Ranbir makes it a point to attend RK Studios’ Ganesh Visarjan and Ganesh Chaturthi ceremony. It's not just him. Even his sister Riddhima Kapoor had flown down from Delhi this year to be a part of their Ganesh Chaturthi pooja.

Just a few moments ago Ranbir was in Chembur along with Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor for the visarjan. The procession started around 1.30 pm and Ranbir walked for almost a kilometre to the nearby beach to immerse the idol.

Ranbir was in high spirits as he chanted Ganpati Bappa Morya along with the rest of the team of RK Studios. And all eyes were indeed on the star and people climbed up fences and gathered on balconies to get a look at him.
