See Which Actor Visited Newly-Turned Parents Shahid-Mira At The Hospital

Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput became the proud parents of a baby girl yesterday (Shahid Kapoor is the proud papa of a baby girl, Aug 26). And guess who were the first ones to wish the lovely couple – Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapur, Supriya Pathak and his sister Sanah Kapoor.

The trio rushed to Hinduja Healthcare Surgical in Khar last evening to be by Shahid and Mira’s side. Mira was admitted to the hospital on August 24 ahead of her delivery and the baby girl was born around 7.56 pm yesterday. The mother as well as the child are doing fine.
As soon as news spread that Shahid has become a father, his fans couldn’t contain their excitement. Some fan clubs even started posting baby pictures, claiming that this was Shahid-Mira’s “newborn”. A closer look and one could understand that the pictures were tampered with and not authentic. Guess we’ll have to wait for a while before the newly-turned parents share their little one’s first picture.
Rumours about Mira’s pregnancy were doing the rounds since February this year. It was at the trailer launch of Udta Punjab that Shahid confirmed the news with an ecstatic declaration, “Haan, main baap bannewala hoon!”
