Seema Pahwa Tests Positive For COVID-19; Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi Co-Star Goes Into Home Quarantine

Seema Pahwa Tests Positive For COVID-19; Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi Co-Star Goes Into Home Quarantine
On Monday, Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar took to their social media handles and informed their fans that they have tested positive for Coronavirus. Joining the list is actor and filmmaker Seema Pahwa. She took to her Instagram page and shared the news with her followers. The actress shared a jovial selfie and revealed that she will be under home quarantine.

The actress wrote, "Positive hun har baat ko le kar. Dekhlo report bhi POSITIVE hi aa gai. I am covid positive (laughing emoji) 14 days home Corentin take care." For the uninitiated, Seema Pahwa will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi. She will be seen playing an important and different role in the upcoming film. The actress had earlier revealed that she's not playing a mother in the film.

Recently, Alia Bhatt also tested positive for Coronavirus. The actress is currently under home quarantine. The Raazi actress shared the news on her Instagram and wrote, "Hello all, I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care."

After Alia Bhatt had tested positive for Coronavirus, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) had ordered all its workers and technicians not to attend the shooting of Gangubai Kathiawadi for a few days. Gangubai Kathiawadi's teaser was released a few weeks ago and it received a great response from the audience. Alia Bhatt nailed her performance in the teaser.
