Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit Shetty reunite for Hindi remake of Tamil film Theri

Soon after Dilwale released late last year, there were strong rumours of a rift between the film’s hero Shah Rukh Khan and its director, Rohit Shetty.
However, if the latest buzz in trade circles is to be believed, the duo will soon join hands for their 3rd outing after Chennai Express (2013) and Dilwale.

This time around, we hear, the duo is planning to remake Tamil super-hit Theri, which released this April. The film starred Tamil superstar Vijay as a doting dad, who essays 3 characters to protect his daughter.

Says a source, “Contrary to rumours, SRK and Rohit have had no tiff. They will definitely work together on Theri’s remake. Shah Rukh has given the go-ahead for it. The film will release in 2018.”
