Shah Rukh Khan Goes Into Quarantine As Film Pathan Crew Members Test Positive For COVID-19-REPORT
Some crew members of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Pathan has tested positive for COVID-19, as per the latest reports. The report mentioned that SRK has also quarantined himself. Reportedly, the shoot of the Siddharth Anand film has been stalled as well
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has been shooting for his upcoming film Pathan for a few months now. The actor resumed work last year. According to the latest report, Shah Rukh has quarantined himself. The actor took the necessary action after a crew member of his upcoming film Pathan tested positive for COVID-19. As per the reports, the shoot of the Siddharth Anand film has been stalled as well. The report mentioned that the crew members are in isolation and have been quarantined at a location in Andheri.
According to a report in Pinkvilla.com, everyone associated with the film Pathan is concerned about their health and safety after some members tested positive for the deadly virus. The report mentioned that the crew members who tested positive have been quarantined in Courtyard Andheri east. As per the reports, currently, every member associated with the movie have got themselves tested for the virus. The report mentioned they are awaiting test results and watching out for symptoms.
According to a trade source: “YRF works in an extremely efficient bio bubble. Tests happen regularly on sets and all crew members are staying in a hotel. The people transporting them from set to hotel is also tested and put up in hotels. So, if there is anyone who tests positive, it would be before the schedule starts and automatically eliminated from the crew. Given that lockdown is imminent in Mumbai, Pathan crew had anyway taken a 2 day scheduled break so that they can gauge the decision. It doesn’t make sense to start a new schedule and halt it. So, if there is no lockdown, the film will anyway resume soon. This has been blown out of proportion and is factually extremely inaccurate. It is irresponsible to say the least because the industry is doing its best to ensure that work happens by maintaining all norms and regulations.”

Talking about the film Pathan, the cast and crew completed their Mumbai schedule earlier this year. However, the team had another schedule planned in Mumbai, after the completion of the Dubai schedule. The film Pathan is directed by Siddharth Anand and stars Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone in key roles. It is produced under the ‘Yash Raj Films’ banner. Meanwhile, SRK has been busy with IPL 2021. The actor was recently celebrating his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)’s 100th IPL match win. Shah Rukh made a tweet on Twitter and congratulated his team. He also said, “Well done boys,’ praising them.
