It has been quite a while since Shah Rukh Khan was seen on the big screen and his fans are eagerly waiting to find out which film he will do next! He was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s film Zero, co-starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif that released in December 2018 and since then he hasn’t signed any film or announced his next project. The film Zero failed to do well at the box office and received negative feedback and post Zero debacle, Shah Rukh seemed unwilling to sign just any film and was putting in a lot of thought before jumping on to the next project.

Yesterday, there were reports stating that Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s action thriller. According to the report, SRK had apparently signed a big action film helmed by Tiger Zinda Hai director Ali Abbas Zafar and a source close to Pinkvilla said, “Shah Rukh wanted to take up an action-oriented subject as his next and he's finally got the perfect script. The film is going to be mounted on a giant scale and will be one of the biggest films to hit screens in 2020." Now, the superstar has himself cleared the air and rubbished all these rumours. SRK took to Twitter and jokingly said that it was nice to know that he has secretively signed so many films that even he is not aware of. He further added that he does a film when he says so, and anything else is just post- truth. SRK tweeted, “It’s always nice to know that in my absence & behind my back , I have surreptitiously signed so many films that even I am not aware of!! Boys & girls I do a film when I say I am doing it....otherwise it’s just post truth.”

Earlier, there were also a few reports suggesting that Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani film, but turns out these reports were not true, after all! Meanwhile, fans of the actor expressed that they were desperate to see him back. Shah Rukh Khan’s last film Zero, that also starred Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif was a romantic comedy and was Shah Rukh Khan’s most expensive film. However, it was declared a disaster at the box office.
