Mahira Khan spoke about her boyfriend for the first time during an Instagram LIVE, which was held earlier this month
Pakistani actress Mahira Khan will reportedly get married with her longtime boyfriend Salim Karin in September 2023 and the intimate wedding ceremony will be attended only by their family members and close friends. The lovebirds have decided to tie the knot at a hill station in Pakistan's Punjab.
However, Mahira is yet to confirm her wedding.
Mahira and Salim have been spotted together at various events. Moreover, they have always remained tightlipped about their relationship.
The Pakistani actress spoke about her boyfriend for the first time during an Instagram LIVE, which was held earlier this month. She reportedly said, "There’s a line in Humsafar which I thought was beautiful, where Ashar says to Khirad, 'Pata nahi tum mujhe kis neiki kay badlay main miley ho'. I think the same about him."
Earlier Mahira was married to Ali Askari, and they separated in 2015. The two are also known to be parents to a son.
In 2017, Mahira was also rumoured to be dating Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor after their picture went viral in which they were seen smoking.
Recently, a video of Mahira Khan grooving to rumoured ex-boyfriend and Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor's song at a wedding has gone viral on social media. She was seen singing and dancing to the song Channa Mereya from Karan Johar's film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
In the video, she was seen dressed in a black pantsuit for the reception party which was also attended by Ms. Marvel star Mehwish Hayat and other Pakistani celebs. The song is sung by Arijit Singh and it is originally picturised on Ranbir Kapoor. The film also starred Mahira's longtime colleague and good friend Fawad Khan.
On the professional front, Mahira made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Raees in 2017. However, due to the ban on Pakistani artistes in the Indian film industry, the actress could not promote the film in India. She has also not appeared in any other Indian projects since the ban.
