Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur starrer sports drama ‘Jersey’ has finally been released today. Ahead of the release, the star cast was papped at the special screening of the film, which was held last night in Mumbai. Both Shahid and Mrunal looked absolutely stunning at the screening and were seen getting all goofy while posing together for the paparazzi. A lot of videos and pictures have gone viral from the star-studded screening and among them, one clip gained a lot of attention and flak. As per several netizens, in this video, Shahid Kapoor somewhat behaved disrespectfully with Mrunal.
In the video shared on a paparazzo’s Instagram account, Mrunal Thakur can be seen posing for the paps, when Shahid appears from behind and joins her in pictures. In the middle of this, Shahid left the red carpet without making any gesture or bidding bye to his co-star as he straight away gets into the car. Eagle-eyed users also noticed that the actress was about to hold his hand while exiting but Shahid was fast and didn't see it.
This video has left people not really happy with Shahid's behaviour. As soon as the video surfaced online, netizens lashed out at the Kabir Singh actor in the comments section.
One of the users commented, "No respect for co actor ..shahid kapoor does.” Another troll wrote, "Badtameez he deserve tbi Kareena ne isko chhoda.”
While some also said that his wife Mira Rajput must have given him a' gaffe'.
Talking about Jersey, it also stars Pankaj Kapur in a pivotal role. Directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, the film is the tale of a talented but failed cricketer, who decides to make his comeback on the field in his late 30s just to fulfill his son’s wish for a jersey as a gift.
