Shahid Kapoor’s last outing Kabir Singh was one of the blockbuster movies of 2019. Co-starring Kiara Advani, the film received mixed response- while a few applauded the film and actor’s acting, other called out the filmmakers for pulling off sexist plot and even termed the film as misogynistic. Moving on, the film garnered love and criticism but managed to earn around Rs 300 crore on at the box-office. While the film and it’s music is still relived, Gurugram police have trolled Shahid’s without helmet bike scene.

The scene is from the film when Kabir Singh comes to know that some has misbehaved with Preeti in the hostel on the occasion of Holi. Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is currently shooting for another South film remake, Jersey. It so happened that while shooting for the sports drama, Shahid was hit by a ball on his lower lip, cutting it wide open. The actor had then taking to social media to inform his fans that he is recovering. He had Tweeted, “Thank you for all the concern. Yes I have got a few stitches but am recovering fast. #jersey has taken a little bit of my blood but a script this good deserves that in the least. Have a good one you all. Keep it real. Make it count. Spread the love. Humanity above all.”
