Jersey: Shahid Kapoor Heads Back To The Shoot Post-Recovering From Stitches Due To The Accident– PHOTOS
Shahid Kapoor has recovered from the stitches that he got after a tragic accident on the sets of Jersey! We spotted the actor, looking all fit and fine, as he headed back to resume the film’s shooting
Some days ago, the shooting for Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming film Jersey had come to a halt after the actor suffered severe injuries during an accident that happened on the film’s sets in Chandigarh. It so happened that while shooting for the sports drama, Shahid was hit by a ball on his lower lip, cutting it wide open. As a consequence of the same, Shahid Kapoor had to get a number of stitches on his mouth. However, it looks like the Kabir Singh actor has now recovered and is all set to get back to facing the camera.
In a set of pictures clicked by our shutterbugs, we spotted Shahid Kapoor, at the airport, heading back to resume the shooting for Jersey. Going by Shahid’s pictures, the actor looked absolutely fit and fine and ready to get rolling. He was donning a casual multi-coloured jacket with a black tee and loose black track pants. Shahid completed his look with a beard and black aviators. While coming back, Shahid had hidden his injury with a mask and he was also accompanied by his better-half, Mira Rajput.

Right after his injury, there were a lot of speculations in regards to the same. Shahid Kapoor had then taken to his social media account and informed fans that he is recovering. “Thank you for all the concern. Yes I have got a few stitches but am recovering fast. #jersey has taken a little bit of my blood but a script this good deserves that in the least. Have a good one you all. Keep it real. Make it count. Spread the love. Humanity above all,” read his tweet.
Jersey also stars Mrunal Thakur and is a Hindi remake of a South film that goes by the same name.
