Big trouble seems to be pouring in for Shakti Kapoor’s family as his son Siddhanth Kapoor has landed in a drug controversy. Reportedly, Siddhanth has been detained by Bengaluru police after he tested positive for drugs at a rave party. On Sunday, Bengaluru Police busted an overnight drug party in a 5 Star hotel. A few people were detained including Siddhant after their blood samples tested positive for drug usage. Now Shakti Kapoor has reacted to his son’s drug testing.

Speaking to ETimes, Shakti Kapoor, said, “I can say only one thing - it’s not possible.” He refused to speak further and just kept it short saying it is impossible. The report added that even the Kapoor family was not aware of a hotel in Bengaluru where Siddhant was staying in. Last night, Police raided a hotel on MG Road where the rave party was being hosted and detained six people, including Siddhant for allegedly consuming drugs. Dr. Bheemashankar S. Guled, DCP, East division, Bengaluru City told ANI, “Siddhanth Kapoor has tested positive for drugs. He has been brought to Ulsoor Police Station.” However, it is still unclear if the six people who have been detained consumed drugs at the party or took it before coming to the party.

Earlier, Shraddha Kapoor's name emerged in the drug case after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. In 2020, the actress was reportedly questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau over alleged possession of drugs but nothing was found against her.
