I visited PVR Juhu to watch Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma-starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal last weekend and trembled with fear. Reason? Lack of security, yet again. Are lives so cheap?
A month ago, SpotboyE.com had EXCLUSIVELY brought to you the dismal state of affairs at PVR Juhu, whereby the complex (Dynamix Mall) where the prime theatre is situated, lacked security post 10 pm, thus posing a threat to cine-goers’ lives.
I had then watched Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif-starrer Jagga Jasoos and came back shaken up to say the least.

With time, I thought that better sense would have prevailed and the next time I set out to enjoy a movie, I wouldn’t be scared for life. However, when I visited the theatre to watch Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma-starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal recently, I realised that lives are indeed considered ‘cheap’. At least in Dynamix Mall.

Not A Single Guard Is At The Mall Entrance
Yet again, I was ‘greeted’ by a deserted entrance, a large section of the crowd skipped the scanners and attendees were only checked at the multiplex’s door upstairs.
We wonder, how is Mr Kamal Gianchandani (CEO, PVR Pictures) tolerating this? It’s well-known that PVR Juhu is frequented by Bollywood stars and distinguished people from all walks of life and such callous attitude?
No Security At The Entrance Of The Mall
Are we to visit the venue and watch the film at our own risk? Do authorities have no responsibility towards us?
Mr Gianchandani, you are heading a flagship multiplex chain and you have no power over such a serious matter?
Surprisingly, you have not said anything on social media, nor have you responded to our text messages and calls repeatedly made to you.

You are absolving yourself from responsibility and conscience or do these words not exist in today’s times? Do you understand the gravity of the situation?
