Shanaya Kapoor To Share Screen Space With Gurfateh Pirzada And Lakshya Lalwani In Her Debut Movie- Deets Here
Not Student Of The Year 3, but Shanaya Kapoor will mark her Bollywood debut with ami rom-com starring Gurfateh Pirzada and Lakshya Lalwani
On Monday came the big announcement of Karan Johar launching Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor in Bollywood. Film is scheduled to roll out in July 2021. While not many deets about the project were unveiled, as per reports in Bollywood Hungama she will be sharing screen space with Gurfateh Pirzada and Lakshya Lalwani in her debut movie. Reportedly a romantic- comedy with a love triangle is said to go on floor in mid-2021. These two budding actors are also managed by Dharma Cornerstone Agency.
The said publication's source informed, “Shanaya has been signed on officially by Karan's talent management team Dharma Cornerstone Agency. She has also bagged her first film and it will also star other DCA talents Gurfateh Pirzada and Lakshya Lalwani. The rom-com is very much an urbane triangle love story and it goes on floors around mid-2021. Depending on the shoot, the team will plan its release.” Shanaya has assisted on cousin Janhvi Kapoor’s movie Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, before she was all ready to soak her feet in the acting arena.
Shanaya was being considered for the third instalment of Student Of The Year but as the film is said to be releasing on Netflix and not on big screen, her mother Maheep Kapoor and KJo opted for another film.
The source shares, “Shanaya was indeed being considered along with Alaya F for SOTY 3. But Maheep and KJo discussed it and they didn't want her first film to not have a theatrical release.
