Be it flak over not knowing a detail from the Ramayana or a claim by filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri that she stepped out amid lockdown, Sonakshi Sinha is making headlines for multiple reasons. After being targetted my Mukesh Khanna for her knowledge about Ramayana, Sonakshi once again grabbed headline when she was slammed for an old picture by a renowned Bollywood filmmaker. And like always, her father and veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha has once again jumped in to his daughter’s rescue.

It so happened when Vivek Agnihotri had shared a snapshot of a newspaper that saw Sonakshi Sinha heading out for a shoot. Sharing the grab, the Bollywood filmmaker had captioned it, “Who shoots in such times?”  Hitting it back at him, Sonakshi had shared another picture from the same instance and clarified that it’s not a recent one. Now reacting to the same controversy, Shatrughan Sinha has said that which shooting is he talking about and since they are abiding by the GOI laws then it may be Sonakshi's duplicate in Mumbai.

He told Bollywood Hungama, “Kahan shooting? Kaun si shooting? Sonakshi has been home with us throughout since the lockdown. Hum log ke ghar mein koi pagal nahin hai. No one is stepping out at a time when our beloved Prime Minister, the real action hero, Modiji has very wisely and sternly asked everyone to stay indoors.”

Her further added jokingly, “If Sonakshi has been spotted then it must be her double. It is said all of us have an exact duplicate somewhere in the world.
