Bollywood actress Sherlyn Chopra, who had accused Sajid Khan of sexual harassment, lately has been demanding his removal from the reality show Bigg Boss 16. On Wednesday, she was spotted outside the police station in Mumbai wherein she talked to paparazzi and told them she has filed a sexual molestation complaint against #MeToo accused Sajid. Chopra also revealed that she has written a letter to Union Minister Anurag Thakur to stop Bigg Boss 16 telecast until Khan is not eliminated.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, Sherlyn could be heard saying to paps, “I have come to the police station to file a complaint against Sajid Khan, who is a #MeToo accused. He is a habitual sexual predator and molester. I have come to file a complaint against him under IPC section 354, 354 A. The police have given me the assurance that I will be called very soon to record my statement. She added that the makers of Bigg Boss are paying no heed to her request to removal Sajid Khan from the house. She even said that the channel broadcasting the show does not understand the pain of women who have suffered at the hands of Sajid.
During the MeToo movement, Sherlyn Chopra had accused Sajid Khan of flashing his private part at her. Calling the filmmaker a 'molester', she claimed that Khan asked her to rate his private part on a scale of 0 to 10. “I would like to enter the house of Big Boss and give Sajid the rating that he had sought so desperately from me! Let India watch how a survivor deals with her molester,” Sherlyn had said in her earlier Instagram post.
To note, many celebrities including TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Urfi Javed, singer Sona Mohapatra, Mandana Karimi and DCW Chief Swati Maliwal among others have objected to Sajid Khan’s participation in Salman Khan hosted show Bigg Boss 16.
