Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan had a very unconventional start in the industry. Starting from portraying grey characters to becoming the king of romance, SRK has come a long way. His ever growing fans have worshipped him and showered him with love, may it be on social media or waiting in front of his bungalow Mannat to catch a glimpse of him. He had garnered a lot of female fans during the late 90s and early 2000s.
During an interview with CNN, King Khan was asked if he had figured out the secret behind his massive success. The actor admitted that he had no idea what people liked about him. He was sure that it wasn’t for his looks as he was normal-looking. Even his friends and the actresses he romanced on the screen thought so too. He shared, "I don’t know myself. Most friends laugh at me that I have become a film star, especially the actresses who worked with me earlier on, their first reaction was eeks. They find it very surprising, they think I am a long-running fluke."
SRK went on to share that he always finds it funny when people say he is good looking. He joked that it was either both luck and God’s blessing on him or that over 100 million Indians were shortsighted.
The Dear Zindagi actor said, "I find it funny when people find me good-looking. I find it embarrassing actually. I am very ordinary in my films, and that makes them special, because there is no other reason (behind their success). I work hard and I am very honest with the work I do. Besides that, it could be luck, God has blessed me, people have been kind, or it could be that 100 million Indians are very short-sighted."
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in an extended cameo in Ayaan Mukherji's Brahmastra. The actor has produced a lot of commercially successful movies and web series. Currently, the actor is busy preparing for his comeback with the movies Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki.
