Shershaah, based on the story of Capt Vikram Batra, a 1999 Kargil War hero premiered on the OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video. The film stars Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra, who plays the character of Capt Vikram Batra. Since this morning, the film is riding high on the positive reviews from critics and the audience. Celebrities Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal also shared their opinion on the film. Bollywood Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan also watched the movie, and shared his thoughts on the ‘impactful’ story of Capt Vikram Batra.

Taking to his Twitter, SRK made a tweet and heaped praise on actor Sidharth Malhotra’s performance. He quoted a popular saying by Martin Luther King Jr that speaks about a man discovering what he will die for. The quote reads: “If a man hasn’t discovered something that he will die for, he isn’t fit to live.” Talking about the film, Shah Rukh said that watching ‘Shershaah’ on the screen made him realise the meaning of the quote by Martin Luther King Jr.

Shershaah is directed by filmmaker Vishnuvardhan and produced by Karan Johar, under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film also stars Kiara Advani, playing the role of Dimple Cheema, Capt Vikram Batra’s sweetheart, who he was to marry after his return from war. After Vikram Batra's untimely demise, Dimple remained unmarried all her life.
