Shibani Dandekar Backs Britney Spears After Her Plea To End Conservatorship Is Rejected; Actress Says 'Stop Controlling Women'
Shibani Dandekar took to her Instagram to react after Britney Spears lost a bid to get her father Jamie removed from her 13-year conservatorship.
Pop sensation Britney Spears’ battle for conservatorship with her father Jamie Spears has been the talk of the town. The American singer had revealed to a Judge about abusive conservatorship that pushed her into depression and left her traumatized. Now, as per the latest reports, despite Britney Spears' bombshell testimony last week, A US judge has denied the request of the international singer to end her conservatorship. Soon after Britney Spears losing the Court case hit the headlines, many celebrities came out in support of the pop star.
Recently, Shibani Dandekar expressed her disappointment over the Court’s verdict and said "stop controlling women". Taking to her Instagram story, the actress shared a screenshot of a news article of Britney Spears’s court verdict and wrote, “This is the world we live in." She also wrote, "Stop Controlling Women."
In another post, she shared a screenshot of Bill Cosby's case verdict underlined the word 'Freed' and wrote, "On the same day." To note, Britney’s conservatorship hearing and Cosby's Me Too case verdict came only a few hours apart.

Meanwhile, As per a report in Variety, the court documents which were filed on Wednesday, mentioned that “The conservator’s request to suspend James P. Spears immediately upon the appointment of Bessemer Trust Company of California as sole conservator of estate is denied without prejudice.”
The court ruling has also stated that Britney Spears is “substantially unable to manage his or her financial resources or to resist fraud or undue influence.”
The ruling comes after Britney’s father had filed a response in the court saying that he is concerned about his daughter and that he loves her a lot.
