SHIFTING BASE: Why Is Kangana Ranaut Heading To Las Vegas?
Versatile actress Kangana Ranaut is awaiting the release of 2 films, Hansal Mehta’s Simran and Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon next year
Kangana Ranaut has been shooting for Hansal Mehta’s Simran in Atlanta for over a month now and finally, the team has wrapped up the schedule in the city. An elated Kangana, along with the team of the film posed for a happy group picture. Have a look:

The team will
now head to Las Vegas to kick-start the next schedule. Kangana essays the role
of a divorced housekeeper Praful Patel in the film. As part of workshops,
Kangana learnt the ropes of vacuuming, making beds and also interacted with
professional housekeepers about their routine (Kangana Ranaut Begins
Prepping For Hansal Mehta’s Simran, Aug 28). Certain reports suggest
that Simran is allegedly inspired by the life of an NRI nurse in the US,
Sandeep Kaur, who was imprisoned for robbing banks to pay off her gambling
debts last year.

Meanwhile,
Kangana has also completed shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon, which also
stars Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan besides the actress. The period film is
set in World War II and is scheduled to release next year.
Kangana is known
to essay unconventional roles; be it a dejected girl who goes on her honeymoon
all by herself in Queen (2013), a dacoit in Revolver Rani (2014), or an athlete
in Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015) and we are sure that these upcoming films will
only take her career to greater heights.
