Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar reportedly contacted Jacqueline Fernandez while he was inside the Tihar jail!
Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez made headlines for all the wrong reasons after her name was linked to conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Last year, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned the actress related to a money laundering case involving Sukesh. Jacqueline, since then, has been appearing before ED to record her statements. Now, as per the latest report, Sukesh Chandrasekhar was contacting the actress from inside the Tihar jail. Yes, you read that right! In fact, Fernandez claimed that she was not aware of Sukesh calling and texting her from the jail.
According to the latest report in The Print, the Kick actress and Sukesh's alleged love story started in 2021 when Sukesh sent her a message while he was in the Tihar jail. However, Jacqueline did not reply to him. Later, the conman used her hairdresser to approach the actress. He introduced himself as the owner of a TV network and a jeweler to Jacqueline, in fact, during his first meeting, he told her that he was close to Home Minister Amit Shah. Reportedly, Jacqueline believed him but she had no idea that Sukesh contacted her from jail. ALSO READ: OMG! A source close to the ED revealed to the portal that the 36-year-old actress has claimed that she met Sukesh only twice in Chennai during his parole period. Jacqueline also mentioned how she used to ask him to meet her but he would avoid giving excuses for Covid 19 imposed restrictions.
In her statement, Jacqueline also claimed that she got to know the truth about conman Sukesh from the news. For the unversed, on December 5, 2021, the actress was detained by the immigration authorities at the Mumbai International Airport from going outside the country. Jacqueline was questioned for several hours by ED at the airport before the authorities let her go.
