In a shocking twist of turns, singer Kailash Kher was attacked during his concert in Karnataka's Hampi. As per the latest reports, a bottle was thrown at the singer while he was performing on the stage. Kailash reportedly escaped unhurt. It is being said that the Police immediately swung into action and arrested two men who threw the bottle at Kailash. Further details are awaited on the same.

As reported by India Today, Kailash did not stop his gig after he was attacked by the bottle. He remained calm and continued with the concert. A huge crowd gathered to witness the singer’s concert in Karnataka. Reportedly, two youths in the crowd demanded him to sing a Kannada song and allegedly threw a water bottle on stage at Kher. The singer was performing at the cultural festival Hampi Utsav, which began on January 27. The event was inaugurated by chief Basavaraj Bommai and has four stages set up - the main one at Gayatri Peeta, Eduru Basavanna Vedike, Hampi Virupaksheshwar Vedike and Sasuvekalu Vedike.


Apart from Kailash Kher, other singers invited to perform at the event were Sandalwood playback singers Arjun Jannya, Vijaya Prakash, Raghu Dikshit and Anannya Bhath, and Bollywood playback singer Arman Mallik.

The report added that two days before performing at the concert Kailash Kher was in Lucknow for the three-day Uttar Pradesh Diwas.
