A while back, we told you how Ganesh Acharya shot back at Saroj Khan as she accused him of dividing CDA (Cine Dance Association) and also manipulating dancers. And now, here is a video, given to us by Ganesh Acharya, where (according to Acharya) Saroj Khan is seen accepting that she was present at the inauguration of the new CDA office, last evening, as she was paid for it
A while back, we brought to you what Ganesh Acharya had to say to the accusations made by Saroj Khan against him, where he is being blamed for dividing CDA (Cine Dance Association) and also manipulating dancers. By the end of our story, we had promised to come back with a shocking video, handed over to us by Ganesh Acahrya. The video, according to Acharya, has Saroj Khan speaking about attending the inauguration of CDA’s new office, last evening, in exchange for money. The choreographer, during the end of our conversation, insisted that we take a look at the video and within minutes of hanging up with us, sent it on our WhatsApp.
The video sees Saroj Khan sitting with a few people in an office and saying, “Inauguration ke liye mujhe bulaya tha aur bola paisa denge. Maine bola pehle maal nikalo. Unhone mujhe maal diya, maine inauguration kiya.”
When we asked Ganesh, which inauguration is Saroj Khan talking about, the choreographer told us, “wahi jo yeh log kal sham ko kiye dancers ke saath, naya office ka,” adding, “yeh sab Saroj ji ko shobha nahi deta, aaise sab bolna. Aap suno khud.”
For those who have come in late, last evening, Saroj Khan along with a few members of CDA held a press conference and blasted Ganesh Acharya for misguiding dancers and forming his own association against CDA. In a press conference, she had said, “CDA was established in 1955 and has given dancers like Remo D’Souza and Ahmed Khan to the industry. Even Ganesh and his father were a part of it. Starting a new organisation by boycotting your roots is disloyalty. Ganesh has been badmouthing CDA all over the industry and poaching its dancers by promising more money. They are dividing the dance community Ganesh has his own people take the posts in the new association."
When we got in touch with Ganesh, this morning, he had shot back at Saroj Khan by saying, “Why is she holding press conference? Why can’t she call me, the dancers facing issues face to face and talk. She should concentrate on solving their problems than holding media meetings.”
The choreographer had also revealed, “Main unke naakhun ke barabar hun, I have always respected her, though we haven’t worked together ever. Jab maine Sajid Nadiadwala ke liye Baaghi 2 ka Ek Do Teen choreograph kiya tha, woh gussa ho gayin thi. Ahmed Khan had told her ki she would choreograph it initially but ultimately he felt that I would do justice to it. That time, it was me who asked Sajid to pay her Rs 5 Lakhs, as a respect gesture, since she was the original choreographer of the song. Not just this, I have also got her money out from a lot of reality shows. This is how I get paid back.”
