Shoojit Sircar Gets Injured!

Shoojit Sircar, along with the star cast of his upcoming film Pink – Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Piyush Mishra and Angad Bedi – is busy spreading the word about the film. However, during media interactions yesterday, we couldn’t help but notice that the filmmaker was using a walking cane.
Curious as we are, we asked Shoojit the reason behind him limping and he revealed that it’s due to a severe muscle pull during a football match.
He said, “I was playing football along with Ranbir (Kapoor) and Abhishek (Bachchan) at St Andrews Ground, Bandra a few days ago. Suddenly, while taking a shot, I pulled the calf muscle. The pain was excruciating. I have to use the walking cane for a few days now.”

“It was very unfortunate. I am a huge Barcelona fan and will not give up football for anything. I hope I recover soon enough,” he added.
We wish you do, Shoojit. Ranbir, Abhishek, Bunty Walia and Dino Morea among others get together for a football match on weekends whenever they are in the city. Shoojit joins the group often.
