Shraddha Kapoor Birthday Special: 5 Big Hits Of The Actress
Shraddha Kapoor started her career with Leena Yadav’s Teen Patti in 2010 where her co-stars were Ben Kingsley, Amitabh  Bachchan and Madhavan. It couldn’t get any better. But it did. Here are her biggest hits so far:

1. Aashiqui 2 (2013): Before Shraddha, this role inspired by A Star Is Born had been attempted by formidable actresses like Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand and Jaya Bhaduri. Shraddha played it in her Marathi Mulgi own way. She was an aspiring singer, a Lata Mangeshkar fan, who is taken under the wings by a superstar singer. This is to date Shraddha’s best. Coming from a family of singers (Lataji is the great-aunt) she nailed the recording sessions.

2. Ek Villain (2014): Playing the sweet  girl next door comes naturally to Shraddha. In this film, her angelic character was brutally bumped off, setting off a vendetta spree where her goodness remained a core reality. Shradha had little footage but she left a lingering fragrance of bonhomie.

3. ABCD2 (2015): In this one, she got to display her dancing skills. She proved herself skilled in her dancing shoes matching steps with Varun Dhawan whipping up a frenzy on the dance floor. The film’s director Remo had told me, Shraddha was very bit as good at dancing as Varun.

4. Baaghi (2016): An out-and-out actioner with Tiger Shroff in the author-backed role, Shraddha still managed to create a space of her own. Though she played a damsel in distress (she gets kidnapped in the first reel) Shraddha made sure she was no decorative doll.

5. Stree (2018): Cracking the horror-comedy genre, Shraddha played the chudail with relish. She obviously enjoyed the eerie-meets-airy space and made the best of it. Stree was a huge success. It put Shraddha in the stars’ list and enabled her to hike her remuneration. Way to go,girl.
