Shraddha Kapoor Down With Dengue, Saina Nehwal Biopic Shoot Put On Hold
Shraddha Kapoor had been really looking forward to working on the Saina Nehwal biopic. But unfortunately, just a few days into the making of the film, and the shoot has come to a grinding halt because the lead actress is down with a bad bout of dengue
Shraddha Kapoor, who is basking in the success of Stree,
and had begun shooting for Saina Nehwal biopic after Batti Gul Meter Chalu hit
cinemas, has been diagnosed with dengue. The 31-year-old actress had been
really looking forward to start work on the biopic, but its shoot has come to
an unexpected halt because of Shraddha’s medical condition.
Mumbai Mirror reported that the actress has been lying
low after she was diagnosed with dengue, and will now return to the film sets
only after a few weeks.
“Shraddha started feeling unwell a few days into the
schedule. She stopped shooting on September 27 after a checkup revealed that
she has dengue. She is expected to return to the film’s set in a couple of
days. Meanwhile, Amole continues to shoot portions featuring the child actor
who portrays the younger Saina, and other supporting artists," a source
told the daily.

The film’s producer Bhushan Kumar also confirmed the news
to the daily. "Shraddha has had a busy schedule for months now and that
seems to have taken a toll on her health. All of us empathise with her
situation. We will soon get an update on her health and when she can resume
work. She is keen to get back as soon as possible." Get well soon, Ms
