Shraddha Kapoor On Battling Anxiety For Six Years, Says She Didn't Even Know What It Was

Shraddha Kapoor, who shot to fame with Mohit Suri's Aashiqui 2, is currently on cloud nine as the actress delivered two back-to-back hits - Saaho and Chhichhore. Both films which were released recently are doing good business at the box office. However, despite being at the peak of her career, the actress confessed that she is suffering from anxiety issues. Recently, while talking to Pinkvilla, Miss Kapoor revealed that she is fighting with anxiety and doesn't even know what it was. Nevertheless, the actress also revealed that she has now progressed from 'not knowing' to 'accepting it.'
She said, "I didn't even know what anxiety was. We didn't know it since a very long time. It's just after Aashiqui, where I had these physical manifestations of anxiety. There's this pain happening where there was no physiological diagnosis. We got so many tests done but there was nothing wrong with me in the doctor's report. It's bizarre because I kept thinking why I was getting that pain. Then I kept asking myself why that is happening."
"Today, it's something that I still deal with but it has become so much better than what it was. Also, somewhere you have to embrace it. You have to accept it as part of yourself and approach it with a lot of love. That made a big difference. Whether you have anxiety or not, you always need to understand who you are or what you stand for," she further added.
Meanwhile, Prabhas and Shraddha starrer Saaho which is touted to one of the most expensive films of this year has collected Rs. 138.46 crore so far at the domestic markets while the film made a smashing 350+ crores at the worldwide box-office. Talking of Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha starrer Chhichhore, the film is minting good money. So far, the film has raked in Rs. 68.83 crore at the box-office. Nitesh Tiwari's film is surpassing all expectations, estimations and calculations.
