Shreya Ghoshal Unveils The FIRST LOOK Poster Of Sidharth Shukla And Shehnaaz Gill's Last Music Video Together, 'Adhura'; SidNaaz Fans Get Emotional
Shreya Ghoshal took to her social media accounts to share the first look poster of Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill's last music video together 'Adhura'
Popular actor and Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla's untimely death sent shock waves across the entire film fraternity, leaving everyone heartbroken. He breathed his last on September 2, reportedly in his lady love, Shehnaaz’s Gill lap. Before his demise, Sidharth had shot for a music video with Shehnaaz. However, the shoot of the song was incomplete but in the wake of receiving constant requests from ‘SidNaaz’ fans, the record label decided to release the footage from their shoot. The song and music video, earlier named 'Habit', will now be titled 'Adhura', and will be released as a tribute to the late actor on October 21.
Singer Shreya Ghoshal, who sang the song penned by Arko Pravo Mukherjee, on Saturday treated fans with the first look poster of the song. She said Sidharth was a star and will be the same forever. Alongside the poster, she wrote, “He was a star and will be forever.. The love of millions of hearts will shine bright forever. #Habit our unfinished song.. #Adhura hai par phir bhi poora rahega.. #Sidnaaz ka yeh aakhri gaana, har fan ki khwahish, hamesha ke liye humare dilon mein zinda rahega. Releasing on the 21st October.@saregama_official @shehnaazgill #SidharthShukla @arko.pravo.mukherjee.”
The poster features a still of Sidharth and Shehnaaz sharing a light moment, with words, “Ek Adhura Gaana, Ek Adhuri Kahani. A Sidnaaz song (an incomplete song, an incomplete story)” written on it.
As soon as Shreya Ghoshal shared the poster, SidNaaz fans got emotional. While one said, “Sidnaaz is eternal,” another commented, “This made me emotional. Can't wait to watch this song.”
The track, which was shot in Goa, will in a way mark Sidharth and Shehnaaz’s last project together. Both had first met together on Bigg Boss 13 and since then, had been inseparable - till Sid left for another world.
Fans of Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill just can’t wait to see them together, creating magic for the one last time. On a related note, Shehnaaz Gill has kept away social media since Sidharth's death. She did not fully participate in the promotions of her Punjabi movie, Honsla Rakh which released on October 15.
