Shreyas Talpade Suffers Heart Attack After Shooting For Welcome To The Jungle; Actor Undergoes Angioplasty- Read REPORTS
Shreyas Talpade complained of feeling uneasy after he returned home from Welcome To The Jungle’s shooting
Bollywood and Marathi actor Shreyas Talpade has made a mark in the entertainment industry with his versatile performances. The actor, who is currently busy shooting for the comedy caper Welcome To The Jungle, suffered a heart attack on Thursday evening. He had returned home from the shoot when he complained to his wife about feeling uneasy, who then rushed him to the hospital.
According to a report by India Today, he was admitted at the Bellevue Hospital, Andheri in Mumbai, where he underwent angioplasty. The report states that his condition is stable and the hospital authorities have also revealed that he is doing fine. The officials confirmed that his angioplasty was conducted at around 10 pm adding that the surgery was successful. The news of his heart attack came as a shock to the entertainment industry. As per a report by Bollywood Life, the actor was very jolly during the shoot of the Akshay Kumar-Disha Patani starrer. Quoted by the entertainment portal, a source said, “He shot through the day, was absolutely fine and joking around with everyone on the set. He even shot sequences that had a bit of action. After finishing the shoot, he went back home and told his wife that he was feeling uneasy. On the work front, Shreyas Talpade will return to the big screens as former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency. A period political drama, the movie is based on the emergency period in India during the mid-70s, which was announced by the then Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. He will also be seen in the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle, the shoot for the same started on Thursday.
