Shruti Hassan Opens Up About Her Nose Job And Fillers, ‘I Don’t Feel The Need To Justify Why I Want To Look A Certain Way For Myself’
Shruti Hassan, in a recent interview, spoke about her nose job, fillers and the remarks she got from the industry
Shruti Hassan is one of the top actresses who has worked in Hindi films as well as South films and garnered adulation for her work. She has always shared her experiences of whatever she has faced in the film industry. She has never shied away from putting up her opinion and has been unapologetic about it. Recently in an interview, she spoke about her nose surgery and fillers.
While speaking to Hauterrfly, Shruti Hassan has put an end to the speculation of people who thought that she has fixed her nose but was using deviated septum as an excuse. She said that she had a deviated septum which used to hurt a lot and opted for surgery.
Hassan further added, “I did get my nose fixed and it was very obvious I got my nose fixed. My nose was broken and quite different from before and I did my first film with my old nose. And people are like she’s just using the deviated septum excuse. No, I did have a deviated septum, it hurt. But if I could make it prettier, it’s my face, why wouldn’t I? It was that simple. I don’t feel the need to justify why I want to look a certain way for myself.”
When questioned, “Did you get fillers?” she agreed to it and said “yes”. The ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ actress even mentioned that tomorrow if she wanted to facelift she would. It is her body and her choice to get it done or not.
The ‘Gabbar Is Back’ actress further spoke about the remarks she received from the industry. She said, “You don’t look like a heroine’, ‘Shruti has a foreigner’s face’, and ‘She’s very talented but she doesn’t look Indian enough.”
On the work front, the 36-year-old actress also has projects such as Salaar and Mega 124 in the pipeline.
