Shuddh Desi Romance Turns Eight: Parineeti Chopra And Vaani Kapoor Share Emotional Posts As They Remember Sushant Singh Rajput And Rishi Kapoor
Shuddh Desi Romance has completed 8 years of its release. On this occasion, Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor shared BTS videos featuring the late Sushant Singh Rajput and Rishi Kapoor.
Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra, Vaani Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor-starrer 'Shuddh Desi Romance' completed eight years of its release on September 6. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film was released in 2013. On this occasion, Parineeti remembered Sushant and Rishi Kapoor, who are no longer with us.
Parineeti Chopra took to Instagram to share a BTS video, featuring late SSR and Rishi Kapoor. She wrote in the caption, "Miss you Sush. Miss you Rishi sir. Vaani Kapoor also shared a BTS video featuring late SSR and Rishi Kapoor. She also penned a note as she remembered her co-stars. For the uninitiated, Shuddh Desi Romance marked Vaani's debut in Bollywood. Sharing the special video, she wrote in the caption, "You always remember your start and where it all began. I could've been a complete blooper if it wasn't for my filmmaker #ManeeshSharma. Being a shy and quiet person.. I was rather given an opportunity to play a fierce part in my first who was so much more fearless, confident, and gutsy."
Vaani thanked Adi, Maneesh and Shanoo for giving her the opportunity. Talking about late Rishi Kapoor, she wrote, "I cannot put into words how much it meant for me to share screen space with him, his charm and charisma remains forever unmatched." Talking about working with Parineeti, she wrote, "Even though I didn't share a lot of screen space with Pari ..I remember vividly being stuck in our scene together, the wonderful actor that you are, it was even more generous of you to help me calm my shaky nerves so I could perform my best in it!"
Lastly, remembering SSR, Vaani wrote, "Sushant you were the best first co-actor one could've asked for! We miss you."
